This week Young Dawgs, the program I am interning for, officially began. On Monday, May 28th the students who are staying in the dorms moved in. My job this week was slightly different from the first two weeks. During the mornings I would still go to the Training and Development Center and work on organizing student information, visit students at their sites, plan activities for the evening, and work on the newsletters. During the evenings I spend time with the students after their internships playing games and eating dinner. This helps them to relax and get rid of their stress. I believe that the activities and socializing is good for the students’ mental health. I have listed the corresponding responsibilities and competencies for the previous activities below.
